Job Details
Our client is looking for a commercial lawyer with knowledge and experience in financial services to join their highly regarded in-house legal team.
Based in Bolton, this is a varied and busy role assisting the Head of Legal in managing all legal and regulatory matters affecting the Group.
The successful candidate will also help assess the regulatory impact on their funds and provide advice in relation to any trading issues or queries that may arise.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a UK qualified Solicitor
- Have some prior experience ideally in a financial services environment dealing with funds, regulatory, compliance, FCA, corporate finance matters
- Advise the Group on the laws, rules and regulations relevant to the Group's activities in the financial services sector
- Great communication skills to advise senior management and the Board of Directors on legal matters as required.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage a generous workload
- Able to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Take initiative
- Attention to detail when analysing data and reviewing legal documents
