Professional Negligence Partner - Leeds

An international law firm is currently seeking a Partner/senior insurance lawyer with a background in professional negligence to join its successful and expanding team in Leeds.

This is a defendant role and will involve professional negligence claims claims against a wide variety of professionals, including accountants, solicitors, architects, barristers, and others. The successful candidate will be expected to develop the Leeds-based team and work with professional negligence lawyers from the firm's other offices in the UK. Having the personal qualities to mentor and develop staff is important.

Previous professional indemnity litigation experience is essential. Ideally, this will be from an international, national or regional firm. Experience of advising on policy coverage will be advantageous. The successful candidate will be self-sufficient in their work, have the ability to adopt a commercial approach and be a strong team player.
