A Central Government organisation based in Darlington are seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join their team for a period of 6 months initially.

This role will involve dealing with appeals against DBS decisions in the Upper Tier Tribunal on whether a person should be included or removed from a Barred List.

The successful candidate will also be required to provide advice to the organisation regarding operational cases, as well as other matters relating to Freedom of Information and Data Protection.

Applicants will need experience in civil litigation including tribunal and, advising public bodies. Previous regulatory experience is desirable but not essential for this position.

This role is to begin as soon as possible for an initial period of 6 months but is likely to continue beyond that. This is a full-time position.
