Barnstaple - Paralegal/Property Lawyer - Property Department

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our property team, based in our Barnstaple office. Wollens is a dynamic and successful Devon-based firm. We have shown exceptional growth over the past few years and are now one of the largest practices in the Devon and Somerset area. We have ambitious plans for the future, and this opportunity is perfect for a bright and committed lawyer to make a mark in a vibrant firm and department.

The ideal candidate will either be a very strong paralegal, licensed conveyancer, or an up to two years qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive. You will have excellent client care skills as the department, and the firm, prides itself on exceeding clients’ expectations. You will have an exciting and hands on role, managing your own residential conveyancing caseload, including sales, purchases, leaseholds, re-mortgages etc.

You will run your own files from opening to exchange and completion. You will prepare completion statements and bills, file correspondence, check in files and deeds, attend clients, do SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications and much more.
