Do you fancy a complete change of scene?

A vacancy has arisen for a solicitor/barrister to draft legislation, advise and undertake related activities for a British Overseas Territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for the drafting or primary and secondary legislation and related guidance, provide drafting advice to the Legislative Assembly, Executive Council, Government departments, committees and working groups, make proposals for the enactment of new laws and the amendment and repeal of existing laws and facilitate consultation with appropriate stakeholders.

To be eligible, candidates should have at least 5 years PQE as either a Solicitor or Barrister and ideally around 3 years' experience as a Legislative Drafter in a Commonwealth country, the Republic of Ireland or a British Overseas Territory
This is a full time role working on a contractual basis with an initial 2 year placement and a highly competitive package on offer. Comprehensive job description available on request.
