Job Details

Opportunity to join this commercially focused high street practice based in Oldham and deal with a broad mix of conveyancing matters as well as some light commercial property transactions.

You will need to have gained 2 years' experience within conveyancing and ideally be comfortable managing your own caseload as you will be expected to deal with a broad mix of sales, purchase, remortgage, right to buy, transfer of equity and auction properties for both freehold & leasehold matters. You will predominantly be dealing with a local client base and therefore will be able to strike a relationship with many clients as well as meet on a face to face basis. There will be paralegal assistance in place as well as a case management system, however you will need to be able to run your own transactions from inception to completion. You will be working closely with a Partner and assisting on more complex & higher value matters.

Client care is paramount for this practice so you must be an organised and personable conveyancer as well as being comfortable maintaining healthy relationships with both existing and new clients.

As this is a local practice, you will not suffer from the same micro-management styles of bigger city firms and you will be afforded the opportunity to run matters how you wish, provided clients are satisfied.

Salary will be based on experience level, however there will be benefits such as 25 Days Holidays, Secretarial Support, Free Parking, Salary Reviews and Staff Bonus, as well as a work / life balance and progression opportunities available.

Please contact Nick Skelly at QED Legal for further information.
