Corporate Senior Associate / Partner

The Role

A highly regarded, Legal 500, national law firm with offices In Birmingham are seeking a Senior Associate/Corporate Partner to join their expanding and ambitious team. They are seeking an individual to boost their corporate offering. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and strong track record of dealing with corporate transactions.

The Person

•genuine expert in field (M & A, private equity, restructuring)

•has awareness of clients' commercial imperatives and able to tailor advice accordingly

•anticipates legal needs of clients and acts accordingly

•can draft complex, bespoke or unprecedented documentation

•is knowledgeable on document requirements on any given matter

•possesses comprehensive understanding of most aspects of matters and has sound tactical awareness

•can supervise a team in respect of preparing documentation

•Excellent technical legal work to clients and provide good service without supervision

This is an excellent opportunity for a partner to join an expanding team in an autonomous role at what is an exciting time for the firm.

Remuneration will be substantial. Of course this firm has tolerances and thresholds for all levels of appointment, but they’ll take a commercial view on any ‘following’ as this is a key recruit and so the firm knows they need to be somewhat flexible.
