Barnstaple - Residential Conveyancer

Samuels Solicitors LLP are looking for a conveyancer to join their busy property team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic client-focussed conveyancer to work full time with our existing conveyancing team.  Based in Barnstaple in North Devon, we strive to achieve a positive work-life balance to enable our staff to enjoy the stunning and diverse countryside and activities this location has to offer.

If you are a friendly, efficient, flexible and personable individual who can handle a caseload of residential and possibly some commercial transactions we want to hear from you.  You will be able to build relationships with clients, agents and other conveyancers in order to efficiently move transactions to completion, whilst ensuring that client needs are met and issues are dealt with promptly.

We are looking for someone with a solid knowledge of residential conveyancing, including unregistered land, transfers of equity and re-mortgages.  You will be a qualified solicitor, legal executive or be working towards your Ilex qualifications with good advising skills and the confidence to deal with urgent matters under pressure.

We will expect you to be comfortable working within a team and an excellent communicator, working closely with our head of conveyancing who currently works three days a week.  There will be opportunity to publish articles on our website and also to provide input in marketing.

The role is permanent subject to an initial probationary period.  Salary will be dependent on experience.
