Your new role
A Legal Counsel position offering early management experience within a supportive team. You will primarily advise on a mix of commercial and data protection matters, including GDPR and general policy orientated work, supporting a privacy analyst. In addition, you will provide sound and ad hoc guidance on anti-corruption, competition, intellectual property and other matters, building relationships with busy finance, procurement, HR and compliance teams among others. This entrepreneurial business will also allow you the opportunity to manage a paralegal and a junior lawyer as part of the role, facilitating tangible career development.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a commercial lawyer with at least 3-4 PQE (as a guide) with good exposure to data protection matters as well. You must have in-house exposure and a strong commercial mindset, enabling you to give good risk and legal advice. You will be able to manage internal stakeholders at all levels, and engage with a business on a strategic level, including sitting on relevant internal committees. You will have achieved strong academics and be able to handle a varied workload.
