Your new company
A UK based Wills specialist firm with an established history dedicated to writing Wills. The firm works with clients from a wide variety of business sectors including (media, pharmaceutical and finance) around the country and offers services through corporate schemes to a significant number of companies. They additionally offer a wealth of advice, not limited to Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA's), Inheritance Tax advice, Trustee and Executors advice. Contrary to many solicitors they appoint friends and family members as executors in making the process more personal and tailored. There is now a need for a Wills Consultant in a consultancy capacity to be situated around the London area.


Your new role
Your responsibilities will predominately fall into two key areas, client facing work and document drafting of Wills. You will be responsible for leading face to face meetings with clients, instructing them on how best to structure their Wills. These meetings will largely be at the site of the clients' offices. You will also be required where appropriate to make referrals in terms of additional services such as LPA and life insurance. You will be updating Customer Relation Management often with follow up correspondence. In relation to document drafting you will be drafting Wills in which full training will be provided, you will additionally support the drafting's team in busy periods. Excellent diary management will be required, as you will work closely with the meetings team to ensure cost efficient accommodation and travel arrangements.

You will be required to take client meetings outside of London (1-2 times per month) and attend scheduled staff meetings at the HQ in East Grinstead. 3-4 days a week will be focused on client meetings in the London area and the other 1-2 days will be dedicated to administration thus will be home based.



What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should possess excellent, demonstrable administration and organisational skills and you should be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and be methodical in your approach. You will be eager to learn and will have experience working in the area of Wills and Probate. Finally, you would need to be happy travelling around London (predominately zones 1-3) as part of the role.

Finally, you will gain experience from working in a legal environment, gaining exposure to a wide range Wills and Inheritance tax knowledge.
