Senior Matrimonial Solicitor

This international firm is looking for a senior matrimonial solicitor to join their high quality family department. The department boasts the inclusive team ethos with everyone to achieve the highest quality of service to all clients and colleagues. The successful candidate will work predominantly out of the Exeter office, however they must also be flexible to visit and work from any of the 6 other offices.

This would be a perfect suit for an ambitious and energetic Senior Matrimonial Lawyer who can thrive and motivate the family department. You will be required to introduce new business through networking and developing an already outstanding local client base.

Candidates with Family specialist accreditations will be fast tracked of a candidate to interview, should they also attain the following:

• Experience in mediation and/or collaborative law
• Work with little to no supervision
• Previous experience working with middle and high net worth matrimonial cases including pensions, businesses, inherited wealth and maintenance
• Experience with judicial separation, civil partnerships, cohabitee agreements and separations/TOLATAs, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and domestic abuse cases
• Advocacy for directions, FDA and FDR
• Ability to deal with offshore assets and foreign divorces
• Have a full  Driving Licence as you will need to be able to work from different locations as the business need requires

You will need to be able to work efficiently and profitably with minimal supervision and be able to produce the majority of your own documents and correspondence through use of the firms’ case management system.
