Job Details

I have recently been instucted by a top tier Legal 500 listed North West based law firm who are seeking to appoint a Contentious Probate Solicitor with 2 years PQE+ to their strong department. You will be working with a Partner and dealing with the more complex matters within the department.

This ambitious legal 500 firm have an established reputation and their contentious team is led by a proficient, recognised practitioner and they are now searching to strengthen even further.

You will join with a view to managing your own caseload and assisting the partner with senior & management duties. You will also have the support of a legal assistant and a legal secretary on contentious probate matters. Duties will be inclusive but not limited to:

  • Court of Protection disputes
  • Will disputes
  • Inheritance Act 1975 claims
  • Administration of Estate disputes
  • Disputes between executors or trustees

As you will be working alongside the Head of Department there may be broader commercial litigation disputes to deal with whilst establishing a foothold in this niche area.
