Head of Private Client

The firm is in the Legal 500 and has won major Private Client contracts across London. We are looking for a senior experienced Private Client Solicitor to oversee the department.

The Role
You are expected to work with the Private Client team advising on a broad range of Private Client matters. We have a large client base which includes high net worth individuals with complex estates. The ideal candidate would have experience dealing with a variety of estate planning and understand how legal arrangements can help to support our clients achieving their goals.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Supervise the Private Client department and manage large varied case load;
• Have extensive knowledge regarding Wills, Trusts and Probate;
• Expected to meet own and departmental billing targets
• Should be able to build relations with existing and future introducers.
• Evidence exceptional client care skills;
• Work autonomously while maintaining high organisational skills;
• Utilise and maintain case management system;
• Supervise and develop support staff including several paralegals; and
• Comply with the firm’s HR policies and regular attendance in office meetings.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years’ experience PQE, with the majority spent in Private Client;
• Expertise in trusts, tax, wills and probate matters;
• Expertise in helping business owners; and
• Be able to work a minimum 40 hours per week.

We would prefer you to have own clientele or introducers.
