This is an exclusive mandate from this national firm who are seeking to make a strategic hire into their London office.

With a strong technology sector practice group, the firm has identified an opportunity for a commercial litigator with recent technology disputes experience to join the firm. 

This commercial litigator may have a broader skill set and ability to advise on a range of disputes, including working with the non-contentious technology lawyers to advise on service contracts and risk avoidance, as well as handling all of the contentious technology work of the firm and to take the lead in developing this part of the practice further. 

The successful partner may either be an established partner seeking a new challenge, or a lawyer seeking a step into partnership; evidence of the ability to develop relationships both internally and also externally will be important as the successful incumbent will be at the forefront of growing this practice and winning the confidence of colleagues and clients alike. 

Whilst it is envisaged that this role will be mainly London based, there is a level of flexibility on offer for the right person.

  • New role to lead the IT litigation practice within the London office;
  • The ability to undertake wider commercial litigation work;
  • Strong commercial, IT and IP capability within the office and firm;
  • Key role in developing a new group.
