JOB TITLE: Professional Regulatory Solicitor
PQE: 0-2
LOCATION: London
SALARY: £50-60,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
This leading professional regulatory team is ranked in the top-tier by the legal directories and is one of the largest in the country. The team acts for many regulatory bodies, primarily in the health sector but, increasingly, more widely. The work requires managing an investigatory caseload where it is alleged that the registrant's fitness to practise is impaired through misconduct, competence or health issues and preparing those cases for hearings before panels and committees of the relevant regulators. The work is varied, challenging and rewarding and the cases cover everything from large-scale fraud or
multi-patient clinical failings through to inappropriate sexualised behaviour.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Regulatory Solicitor will be involved in cases from the outset and will therefore be able to demonstrate some experience working in a healthcare regulatory / professional discipline arena. You should be able to demonstrate a decent understanding but most of all, a passion for this growing area of law. The firm is considering candidates from private practice firms and in-house regulators.
