The Role

The Senior Employment Solicitor joining the team will need to be ambitious, driven and keen to bring on new clients and work. There is existing work at the firm that will be passed across, and as Head of Department, you will have full autonomy (with support ready whenever it is needed) to build up a client portfolio and over the long term, develop a team around them. The firm are looking to invest in the new hire significantly.

You will need to be capable of giving Employment law advice for both employer and employee matters, and the role will be a good mix of contentious and non-contentious work. There will also be an expectation to handle any related advocacy.

Requirements

  • You will be an Employment Solicitor with at least 4 years + PQE
  • The ability to confidentially manage your own caseload of good quality work and clients
  • Have an aptitude for business development and marketing
  • Experience managing a team
  • You will be a team player with excellent attention to detail.
  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package and a lucrative bonus structure
