Planning Solicitor

Locum, Part Time

10 - 12 Months

A Planning Solicitor is required to join a local authority on a part time basis, which will roughly be 20-25 hours a week for a minimum of 10 months to cover a maternity leave.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planning Solicitor looking for part time position offering fantastic flexibility. You will be exposed to complex and interesting Planning work and have significant Section 106 experience, along with providing legal advice at Planning and Rights of Way committees.

The council are working remotely and happy for this to continue, although the ideal candidate would need to be someone who is flexible as committees are not being held virtually.

Required skills and experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Planning within a local authority- particularly extensive Section 106 experience
