Childcare Legal Assistant Locum
£16-22 per hour D.O.E
3-6 months +
Home Counties
Childcare Legal Assistant is required to join a local authority based in the Home Counties for a period of 3 months initially and the view to extend thereafter.
The client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a genuine interest in public childcare work. They are happy to consider candidates with previous experience within public childcare however this is not essential for the role due to the client offering training and support. Candidates must have the ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment and be able to deal with nature of the work that comes with it.
You will be joining a team of legal assistants and provide support to lawyers in relation to preparing bundles, drafting documents and assisting with PLO and pre proceeding matters to assist lawyers with progressing their cases.
This local authority comes with an excellent reputation in the market and has offered long term prospects for candidates previously. It offers a great working environment and fantastic management support.
You would be required to attend the offices but this will not be every day of the week so candidates must be able to drive or take public transport to the offices. Canddiates are required to be on short notice periods due to the urgent nature of the role.
