FAMILY LAWYER - YORK 3+ PQE

Our client is a Legal 500 rated commercial law firm, based in central York. As part of their offering to private clients they undertake Divorce and Family work which is purely on a privately funded basis. Clients include HNW individuals requiring complex financial settlements, as this is a long established element of the firms services to which it remains committed.

The firm is looking for a Matrimonial Solicitor 3+PQE to join an established unit. A suitable candidate will also be confident to act on a broad range of Family Law cases, including unmarried disputes and TOLATA.

This is a collegiate team, with good quality work and which places store on cultivating relationships and so that is a core expectation of a suitable applicant being enthusiastic about client contact, and networking with the firms substantial contacts base but also externally in the broader community.

Given the structure of the department there is scope for future progression towards partnership, and so this represents an attractive opportunity for a lawyer from an appropriate private client background who is looking for a long term career in the York market. Remuneration will be commensurate with the broader market.
