Your new company
This organisation are situated within the civil service they are a Non-Departmental Public Body within the educational sphere.

Your new role
The legal team drives forward policy and commercial decisions by offering solutions and advice to the business, within the operation of the organisations legal framework. The team is comprised of one Head of Legal and two Legal Counsel's. You will be supported by and directly report into the Head of Legal however the role is mostly autonomous.

You will be supporting all procurement aspects of the organisations work. This may include the invitation to tender documents and the evaluation and moderation process for the procurement of technical education qualifications.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified practising England and Wales Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive. You will also be able to demonstrate good procurement law experience. Previous procurement experience is a necessity as the knowledge would complement the current team. You will additionally have a strong understanding of a legal position within the government.

They are also open to offering a part time position for the correct candidate. This is certainly a position that offer progression and may be offered the opportunity for secondment. There will be one on one support and a lot of autonomy.
