Your new role
A mid-level commercial technology role reporting into the General Counsel, as part of a team of eight lawyers and contract managers in Europe. The role will be steeped in technology matters, including cloud, digital transformation, SaaS and licensing matters, meaning candidates must have strong and sustained experience in technology matters. You will play a crucial role within the commercial team in furthering the business' diversification and maintaining current interests. This is a multi-jurisdictional role supporting activities across Europe. The legal function is indispensable within the business, involved from inception on all new ideas. The lawyers almost all have Magic Circle backgrounds.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a commercial technology focused lawyer with at least four years' PQE (as a guide) trained in the UK or another major common law jurisdiction. You will come from a top firm to fit in with the high-performance culture and background of the team, and you must have unrestricted ability to work in the UK. Without strong technology commercial focus you will not be considered for this opportunity. You will be accustomed to working in a professional corporate environment and be happy working five days in the magnificent London office.
