JOB TITLE: Construction Associate
PQE REQUIRED: 5+ Pqe
LOCATION: Birmingham
SALARY: Starting Salary of £60,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
The successful Senior Construction Solicitor will become an integral part of a dynamic and flourishing Construction & Infrastructure team, managing a varied and complex caseload across a range of sectors. You will be responsible for handling the full lifecycle of non-contentious construction matters, ranging from pre contract risk reviews to the provision of post contract support to PFI's and PPP's. You will gain excellent exposure to a diverse client base, ranging from contractors and developers to public sector bodies; conducting complex and exciting work across engineering, infrastructure and energy sectors. You will be assured in your management skills, confidently supervising cross-departmental work across various legal disciplines. You will display expertise drafting and negotiating NEC, JCT and IChemE contracts, and possess extensive experience with relevant security requirements, funders and professional appointments.

As an established, ambitious and intellectually flexible Construction Solicitor, you will be motivated to provide an exceptional client service within a highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure team. You will be highly proficient handling a broad range of construction matters, with a track record of excelling in challenging and dynamic environments. Displaying a demonstrable passion for construction matters and global legal trends, you will be passionate about providing an excellent client service through the strengthening of new and existing client relationships. You will act as a source of advice to others, sharing knowledge and expertise to member of the team. Actively participating in business development, you will assume a proactive role managing the firm's reputation both in and out of work.
