From the head office in London, their expert team of lawyers handle three key areas Corporate, Real Estate and complex multi-jurisdictional Dispute Resolution cases.

The Role

The firm is looking to grow and / or diversify their Dispute Resolution/Commercial Litigation practice.
As such, they are looking for a Commercial Litigation Partner to join their internationally/nationally recognised, highly ranked department in the City of London.

This makes for a rare opportunity to join in on the successful path this litigation team has carved, in a firm that is investing heavily into this area.

As such, with this opportunity, you'll become a crucial figure within an impressive leading Central London law firm.

Your Work:
The work you do could be from sectors that this firm already operates in, to add to the focus.

Equally, the work you do could be from any sector in theory, as the firm is very keen on diversifying their litigation/dispute resolution practice with a lateral hire.

The Team:
Already lead by an industry-leading, heavy-hitting litigation Partner, you will be delighted with the standards that this department upholds.

The dispute's team handles a broad range of matters, all of which arise from their highly exciting client base.
They are a dynamic, market-leading department are highly commended in the Legal 500 and Chambers for their dispute resolution work.

The team have big plans to expand over the next few years, so this is an excellent time to join them and progress in the department - this could make it an incredibly lucrative time to join as you can focus on translating your client base in the early stages and then growing your own team to support you. This will, in turn, increase your capacity to earn. The firm wants to invest in you.

The work which the team handles is varied. By example, will include, large scale fraud claims, asset recovery, banking & finance disputes, insurance disputes, aviation enforcement actions, director and shareholder disputes, insolvency litigation, trust disputes and warranty claims.

The sectors the team focuses on currently (although your own practice doesn't need to be at all identical) are:
Aviation, Oil & Gas, Finance, IP, Sports, White Collar, Banking, Trusts, Hotels & Leisure or Retail.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Commercial Litigation Partner.
  • The right person for this firm will likely be already coming from a leading London law firm. However, this is not a prerequisite - what is required is that the quality of your work and your standards are very high.
