The firm are seeking to hire an Employment Partner into their modern Birmingham office.
The team is dynamic and punches well above their weight. You work with the other partners to drive the department forwards. They support their clients that cover domestic and international matters.
The firm's highly rated employment team handles a wide range of excellent quality contentious and non-contentious work including advisory work on HR issues, disputes related work in the tribunal and courts, drafting employment documentation, employee relations and transaction/outsourcing work. The team's workload is increasingly top end, complex, premium work and accordingly we are working to strengthen our capacity at that level.
There are excellent prospects here for progression with the continued growth of this department and the firm.
- You will be an Employment Lawyer with at least 6 years PQE (there are no upper limits regarding the amount of PQE and applications are invited from the most experienced candidates)
- You will have good commercial awareness and strong drafting skills
- Experience of managing more junior colleagues is to advantage, but not essential
- A meticulous eye for detail is essential
