Job Details

Childcare Lawyer required to join a local authority due to a busy period within their childcare team for a period of 3 months initially and the view of extension thereafter. Due to the high demand in the market, the client is happy for candidates to undertake the work completely remotely for the duration of the assignment.

Due to the role being based all remotely, the client is seeking an experienced childcare lawyer preferably with local government experience who can pick up an existing caseload and take on new instructions however they are happy to consider experienced private practice candidates who have at least 4 years of working within public childcare law. You will be expected to cover some of your own hearings by phone or skype where possible but they also have childcare advocates and external counsel on board to pick advocacy up for the team.

You will have one on one support from a childcare paralegal who is also working remotely to assist with preparing and drafting of documents alongside PLO matters.
