We're working on an exciting new Employment solicitor role with one of our long-standing clients as they look to expand their growing Employment team in Birmingham city centre.
Ideally you will have gained a minimum of 2 years' experience however, due to the structure of the team there is scope for the right person up to around 12 years PQE. This is a new, expansionary position and the firm are happy to recruit remotely during this time.
The work is respondent focussed across a broad sector base, due to the nature of the work and the volume of work the firm currently are getting in to the Employment team, business development isn't a huge part of this position and they are keen to speak with those Employment solicitor that want to focus on the fee earning and building strong relationships with the current client base.
You will have gained exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work and be comfortable advising clients on settlement agreements, redundancies, TUPE, unfair and wrongful dismissals claims to name but a few.
This is an exciting time to be joining the legal team as they are incredibly busy and fortunate to be able to have the stability of workflow coming into the department which they foresee to continue to increase. You'll be part of a smaller team in Birmingham however, you'll be part of a wider network across the different UK offices.
