Locum Commercial Property Lawyer (OUTSIDE IR35)

OUTSIDE IR35 Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – £40 - £45 per hour – East Midlands – Remote Working

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the East Midlands. This role will run for an initial 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter, and will pay £40 - £45 per hour Outside IR35.   

This assignment will operate on a remote working basis for the foreseeable future, but there may be an expectation for office working at some point should advice change.

The ideal candidate will be a practising Lawyer possessing previous Commercial Property experience. Previous Local Government experience is beneficial; however candidates with a Private Practice background are also encouraged to apply.

Duties may include:

• Negotiating the grant of new leases on behalf of the Authority
• Dealing with licenses, warranties and contracts to enable works to be carried out
• Agreeing compensation relating to loss of business premises
• Dealing with Terminations by Notice and Surrenders by Agreement of existing leaseholds
• Completing rent reviews
• Drawing up agreements for the relocation of tenants
• Effectively managing tenant and landlord relationships
