Job Details
A highly skilled Commercial Litigation Solicitor is required to join out client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne in this Head of Department opportunity. Our client has an unrivalled backing of investors and so this is really an opportunity to develop and build a team around you. This Commercial Litigation role is a Director level opportunity for someone ambitious and driven and enjoys business development!
Role
-Our client has noticed a gap in the market for commercial litigation matters and they already have the backing of high-profile Chambers.
-The firm has an excellent support network already in place ready for this commercial litigation team to grow and be a huge success.
-There will be no set targets in place at least for the first six to twelve months whilst you are establishing yourself. This is a supported lead role within a newly established Commercial Litigation department.
Candidate
-If you are a current Associate looking to progress and have more responsibility including managing a team then this is perfect for you as you will be responsible further developing the commercial litigation work across a number of sectors including the travel sector. With active clients, ready to discuss a commercial litigation offering this is an opportunity to truly make your own.
-Given the nature of this role you must be ambitious. You must be prepared to network and use your business development skills with for example brokers that already use the firm in other departments.
-Ideally you will have had exposure to a broad mix of commercial litigation matters. It is envisaged you will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
