Civil Litigation Solicitor/Associate Job - Exeter

One of our Top 100 clients are looking for a Civil Litigation Solicitor/Associate to join their successful Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Exeter.

Your work will involve operating in diverse industry sectors such as construction, transport and infrastructure, banking and financial services and natural resources. Your caseload will consist of a variety of matters, including handling a varied caseload of legal expense backed dispute claims involving (but not limited to) property, construction and consumer contracts, reviewing and advising on legal expense cover and assisting partners and senior solicitors with more substantial disputes. You will build and maintain effective client relationships and get involved with the training, supervision and development of junior staff (where appropriate).

What you will need to succeed

You will be a solicitor with 2-5 years' post qualification experience in Civil Litigation, ideally with experience of supervising/managing junior colleagues and a proven ability to take on responsibility and manage files, independently where appropriate. You will be client focused, with an ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and enjoy building your own personal profile through assisting with business development activities.
