Court of Protection Solicitor –  Southampton

TSR Legal are currently assisting a well regarded multi office law firm based in Southampton who are currently looking to recruit a Solicitor to work within the expanding Court of Protection team within the Personal Injury department.

As a Solicitor, you will be responsible for assisting the Court of Protection department with clients, many of whom have come to our client with brain injury cases. You will be responsible for dealing and preparing applications for the appointment of a deputy, appointment of a trustee, statutory wills, gifts and DOLs.

As a Solicitor you will be responding to telephone enquiries from clients and supportive daily financial administration, preparing annual deputy-ship reports, visiting clients in their home, care home and hospital settings as well as producing financial reports and budgets. In terms of PQE, our client is looking for a candidate with at least 2 years post qualification experience but would like to see candidates who currently work within a Court of Protection department.
