Actions against the police specialist sought for 12 months fixed term contract in Central London.

Joining the practices busy police misconduct department, the successful solicitor will be able to hit the ground running, taking over an existing, mixed caseload of actions against the police with minimal supervision. Additionally, there will be support for the successful solicitor to develop their own caseload in this department. The firm have indicated that there is future scope for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Candidate

  • A qualified solicitor or legal executive with 2-8 years’ PQE
  • Technically proficient in inquests and/or actions against the police
  • Legal Aid Supervisor status is highly advantageous
  • Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Available for a period of 12 months to commence immediately
  • Is personable, detail orientated and client-focused
