The Role

The firm is looking for a Banking and Finance Solicitor to join their buzzing Manchester office in the heart of the City.

The department punches well above its weight in their chosen markets. You can expect City quality work on a range of transactional work varying in scale and complexity.

You will work and advise on a range of matters to include real estate finance, spanning development finance, Islamic finance, corporate loans, project finance, housing finance and inward investment deals.

You will be provided with the tools to further develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the profitability of the Banking and Finance team.

This opportunity comes with excellent prospects for progression as it is a developing role to support the firm's growing caseload; senior positions at the firm are well within reach for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years PQE
  • You should have a strong background in this area of law. If from a more general Corporate background, you will have a caseload that is at least 50% banking or real estate finance related
  • The ability to confidentially manage your own caseload of high calibre work and clients
  • You will be commercially minded and enjoy business development and marketing
  • You will have a meticulous eye for detail

  • Salary is competitive around market rate, which will be dependent on experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
