Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – £35 to £45 per hour – East Midlands

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a dynamic Local Authority in the East Midlands. This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months on either a full-time or part-time basis. There is the possibility for the contract to be extended thereafter and the position will be worked on an all remote basis for the foreseeable future.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive possessing previous Commercial Contracts experience gained working within Local Government.

Duties may include:

• Providing legal advice on non-contentious Commercial and Procurement law
• Dealing with all aspects of the procurement process
• Researching relevant case law and precedent to provide advice for clients
• Drafting a wide range of contracts and documents
• Monitoring and advising on changes to National and EU legislation

An attractive rate of between £35 and £45 per hour umbrella is offered.
