Job Details
We are working with a multi-office firm in Lancashire who are looking to recruit a commercial litigation solicitor into their Preston office.
This is an interesting opportunity for a commercial litigation solicitor as it involves working on both high value civil litigation cases and good quality commercial litigation cases. Examples being the likes of - boundary disputes and IP disputes - this does not include personal injury or probate work as the firm have separate teams who deal with this work.
The commercial litigation work, which will make up the bulk of this commercial litigation solicitors' caseload, includes contractual disputes; shareholder disputes; insolvency.
As a firm, they are well respected in the Lancashire market and have built up a good base of clients over the years. They also have links to the rural agricultural sector, giving this commercial litigation solicitor the opportunity to extend their network and build a name for themselves in the market.
Ideally, the firm are looking for a commercial litigation solicitor who has around 5+ years of experience. They need someone who is comfortable handling litigated matters on behalf of businesses which will include small to medium sized companies.
