Commercial Litigation Paralegal - In-House Interim Role

Our client, a globally recognised pharmaceutical specialist experiencing rapid growth are seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support thieir general counsel in the UK for a period of 6 months worknig on specific litigation matters valued in the £100m on a contract basis.

The legal team currently comprises of 5 senior lawyers all with a background in commercial litigation and the aim of this recruitment exercise is to add an additional commercial litigation paralegal to support the senior commercial litigation solicitors managing two shareholder disputes.
The aim of the assignment which could last up to a year is to manage cases relating to shareholder disputes worth £100 million in value.

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of three years industry experience (ideally within top city law firms). 

- You will support the external counsel with reviewing and writing summary judgements as well as carry out extensive disclosure on a day to day basis with most of the documents based in the offices

- You will also be expected to assist on advising on legal points and how to best argue these in court by assisting the commercial solicitor in preparing interpretations of how the case may evolve and any day to day legal research required

This role will require someone to work 5 days per week and as it stands this will be based entirely out of the clients office. The client has all necessary Covid safety measures in place within the office. 

The position is to start as soon as possible and is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to gain exposure working In-House at a leading organisation within the Pharmaceutical field.
