This housing association in the North West is committed to adding social value to the Greater Manchester community. The in-house legal team is responsible for managing a range of matters from property leases to housing disrepair and is looking to appoint a qualified lawyer to manage the team in a newly created role.
Your new role
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified lawyer with housing experience to motivate and lead an in-house legal team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality legal advice to the organisation on housing related matters and will also attend court hearings where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in civil litigation matters and advocacy experience with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have a proven track record of managing and supervising a small team, with housing sector experience gained either from working with another housing association or from providing advice to the sector as a private practice lawyer.
What you'll get in return
