COSTS ASSOCIATE - LEEDS

Our client is a leading brand in Leeds - despite facing challenging and unprecedented times in the market as a result of Covid -19, they are looking to add to their their busy costs team. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Costs Associate to join the firm.

The firm currently has an opportunity for either a Costs Draftsperson or a Costs Lawyer to join the team. The role will involve handling a costs caseload that will include a broad and varied mix of civil and commercial costs recovery work, with the main focus being on costs management work. In addition, you will be required to undertake all work associated with bills of costs and points of dispute. You will be dealing with a substantial client base, including some high value work.

Our client is a single site full-service commercial firm with an enviable private client and commercial client base. The firm has a very pragmatic approach and a collegiate culture and so they will be looking for a team player who is keen to get fully involved in the business.

The firm are open as to whether this person is a Costs Draftsperson or a Costs Lawyer but it is important that candidates have had a proven legal career within costs.
