Private Client Partner

Through further growth, this rapidly expanding Top 200 UK Firm are now looking to make a key strategic hire into their Private Client team to complement other recent Partnership hires.

The role is to be based in the heart of Cambridge; however, they have a network of offices throughout the UK. The firm is known globally for their extensive network of HNW & UHNW individuals and privately and publicly owned businesses. The practice is multi-service, but they are particularly well-known for their wealth management services and offer a refreshing alternative to the larger, more conventional business law firms.

The Role

The firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Private Client Partner into their Cambridge office.

The Private Client department is highly regarded nationally, and there is a significant commitment from the business to develop this offering further in Cambridge

You work with the existing Partners from other offices to drive the department forwards. The Private Wealth department is currently thriving in other offices where they deal with a varied caseload, acting for HNW individuals, company owners and entrepreneurs. Both based in the UK and non-UK clients dealing with a varied caseload including;

• Complex wills and assets
• Tax planning
• Estates
• Trusts
• LPOA
• Probates and some contentious probate matters.

They will provide you will full support and autonomy for you to develop and grow your own offering as you see fit in Cambridge & the wider East Anglia region.

Requirements:

• You will be a Private Client/ Private Wealth Partner with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
• Experience of building and managing a team of fee earners, is highly advantageous
• You will be technically strong and have a meticulous eye for detail
• Strong communication skills are essential
