OVERVIEW:
The firm has significant multinational credentials in the financial services, energy, infrastructure, real estate, and advanced manufacturing and technology sectors. The highly rated Restructuring team advises financial institutions, turnaround and insolvency practitioners, company directors, shareholders and other stakeholders on strategies for recovery and turnaround. They also investigate causes of company failure and pursue claims against those responsible. They act for all major clearing banks as well as a wide variety of other lenders. The team is increasingly becoming involved in complex, high value restructurings at an early stage in the financial decline curve, with the aim of providing innovative solutions which improve returns to stakeholders and in many cases, avoid an insolvency process altogether.

The successful solicitor will ideally have gained experience in a National firm or large regional practice. You must be technically excellent but, equally important commercially aware. A team player with a strong client focused approach. You will also have a good academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills. The Partners are looking for a solicitor with broad financial restructuring experience (with an emphasis on transactional, bank-led work and advisory experience).
