New opportunity with a national and Legal 500 rated law firm which has invested heavily in the expansion of its commercial services, and consequently is now looking for a Commercial Solicitor at the 2- 5PQE level to join its Leeds office. Whilst the firms headcount and national coverage is impressive you'll find an entrepreneurial spirit and ambition here which should appeal to candidates from the Top 20 brands who are perhaps feeling they don't get the individual exposure or recognition that they crave.

Suitable candidates will be coming from a Commercial background and will have a genuine enthusiasm to focus on commercial contracts work within the technology and data protection space. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in commercial contracts and data protection within a supportive team. The team is involved in drafting and negotiating all types of commercial agreement, but with an emphasis on technology and data contracts including IT contracts, Supplier contracts, Sales and distribution agreements, E-commerce arrangements, International supply agreements, Logistics agreements, Joint ventures, Outsourcing agreements.

The team also advises on all aspects of data protection law (other than litigation) - they carry out general advisory work such as advising on the Brexit implications of data protection or advising on complaints or DSARS, draft policies and procedures and draft and negotiate contracts involving personal data.
