Job Details
This innovative firm punch well above their weight and due to their success, they are looking for a likeminded and commercially driven Commercial Litigation Partner to hit the ground running and help to continue to drive the department forward.

The practice invests heavily into ensuring they are using and utilising the best technology available. They have good infrastructure and excellent support teams, all allowing fee earners to be as streamlined as possible, allowing you more time to focus on generating fee's and having more in the way of client contact.

Despite their continuous expansion and continued organic growth plans, they have committed to preserving a real family feel throughout their offices, they have a great social element, there are sporting and social committees and regular events that all staff like to get involved in.
The Role
The firm are looking for a proficient Company Commercial Partner to join their busy city centre department in Manchester, covering a multitude of commercial work.
You will work closely with the other Partners within the company commercial department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.
You will deal with a broad client base covering many industry sectors, the sheer level of variety will make for an interesting caseload.
The caseload will involve business start-ups, restructuring, investment and fundraising, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, exiting shareholders and share buybacks, shareholder disputes, banking and re-financing projects as well as governance advice.
This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.
Requirements
- You will be at least 6 years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE)
- You will have first-class communication
- Outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
- Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
- A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous

- Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
