This heavyweight regional firm are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual to join their highly ranked Private Client team. A leading firm based in Leeds with a refreshing approach and international presence, are continuing to dominate the legal field.

Partners in the firm are very accessible and it is commonplace to find NQ solicitors sitting side on side with partners. The Role

The firm are looking for a Private Client Partner to join their flourishing Leeds office.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the private client department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

You will mentor and oversee the work of junior Lawyers and help them to progress in their careers.

The firm has a highly regarded, legal 500 ranked private client department. You will join a highly skilled team that is headed up by heavy hitting private client Partners.

You will work on range of matters to include wills, probate, LPA's, COP work, trusts, tax, estate planning as well as tailored wealth management and succession planning.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

  • You will be a Private Client Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
  • You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
  • You will have strong business development capabilities
  • Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential

  • Salary is competitive around market rate, which will be dependent on experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
