Family & Matrimonial Lawyer - Greater Manchester

Our client is a well-established practice based in Greater Manchester.  It is professionally managed, successful and enjoys an excellent reputation.

To expand the Family & Matrimonial Team, a new opportunity has arisen, which requires a solicitor or CILEX with not less than 4 yrs' pqe/relevant experience.

This is a cohesive (circa 5 fee earners) and friendly team which undertakes a full range of family and matrimonial work. The local community and referrers give rise to instructions from a broad demographic of clients.  The remit of this particular appointment is to play a key role in the team focusing on private work.  You will have experience of negotiating financial settlements and ancillary relief proceedings but a willingness to manage other instructions as well.

The opportunity provides an excellent career path. Reporting to the Head of Department, supporting in team and business development and assisting with supervising and mentoring the other more junior lawyers in the team.
