OVERVIEW:
Applications are sought from Duty Crime Solicitors who ideally possess 3 years’ PQE however candidates at NQ level are also encouraged to apply. The successful Duty Crime Solicitor will be required to undertake fee earning work within all aspects of criminal work and represent clients at Police Stations as well as in Court. The post holder will also be required to conduct their own advocacy whilst also preparing cases for Crown Court. The caseload of the appointed Duty Crime Solicitor will be broad in nature therefore it is imperative that applicants have sound knowledge of Criminal Law. This role will also require travel between the firm’s offices across Warwickshire along with relevant Courts.
