Childcare Lawyer / Senior Childcare Lawyer Fixed Term Contract

12 Months +

£37,000 - £50,000

Childcare Lawyer / Senior Childcare Lawyer required to join a large local authority due to a busy period within their childcare team for a fixed period of 12 months with the view of more permanent prospects after that.

This is a great opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer/ Senior Childcare Lawyer from either a private practice or local authority that is looking to secure a role with a local authority where you will be exposed to a real range of cases at varying complexities depending on the experience of the candidate.

Our client is really happy to hear from candidates who are newly qualified through to those with significant experience within public childcare or private childcare law. The role will initially start on a remote working basis and the council will be guided by government guidelines in terms of returning to the office but is flexible with working from home.

You will run your own caseload of pre proceedings and proceeding matters on behalf of the local authority and caseloads tend to vary between 8-15 cases in total.

You will have one on one support from a childcare paralegal who is also working remotely to assist with preparing and drafting of documents alongside PLO matters.

Our client is looking for someone who has a real passion and enthusiasm for public childcare work and ideally someone who is available on notice on more than 2 months ideally.
