COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR – 5+ PQE – KENT – STRONG SALARY & BENEFITS – JOB REF:2318

OVERVIEW:

The organisation is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their property team, working on a variety of projects and providing property support on corporate transaction work, in particular M&A. The Partners would anticipate a range of experience, including advising clients on freehold and leasehold matters, portfolio investment / management and landlord and tenant, as well as being an integral part of the corporate transaction team. You will have the skills to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast paced environment. Display sound technical knowledge, with a pragmatic solutions-focussed approach to advice. Have outstanding commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in analysing and managing legal, practical and commercial risk. A self-starting desire to provide an excellent client service and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. A desire to be different from the crowd and help build a different and better option for clients. Ideally you will have 5 years’ experience advising clients on transactional property matters, be comfortable taking the lead in delivering advice to clients and building relationships, leading on client matters including drafting and advising on key documents, such as leases, contracts for lease and contracts on sale and purchase. You will also be leading on the property aspects of corporate transactions, including drafting and advising clients on SPA property warranties and disclosures, as well as property documents and play a key role in building and maintaining client and referrer relationships, with an interest in business development. You’ll be joining a team built around being different, the organisations philosophy of being proactive, understanding clients’ commercial aims and providing clear advice and guidance. The team advise a range of businesses from local start-ups to multinational businesses with 1000s of businesses in their portfolios. A client following would be an added bonus but not essential.
