Role Title: Contentious Construction Associate
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Dependent on Experience
This leading national practice requires a construction litigation lawyer to join its excellent team in Birmingham. You will work within an award winning national team, lead by a Partner we rate highly and supported by great systems and IT infrastructure.
The work on offer is of an exceptional quality. You would find yourself working as part of a team on complex disputes including final account/loss and expense claims to major defect issues and PFI/projects disputes. A number of public sector panel appointments guarantees you a stream of interesting matters to work on alongside a rapidly growing private sector practice.
This is a successful, supportive team which recent recruits have thrived in. Their technology is advanced and this has certainly benefited massively them during Covid-19. The firm have have also successfully recruited and on boarded a number of new staff during the lockdown, showing that they are ahead of the market in terms of IT and innovation.
Given the way that they work, they are looking for someone who is team spirited, professional and hardworking. They need someone who has a progressive and positive approach to work as well as being able to demonstrate the kind of flexibility that has served them well as a firm over the recent months. This role will require around 3 years PQE in construction litigation as a minimum and far more senior applicants are also encouraged to apply. There could be scope to recruit more than one applicant.
