An excellent opportunity on so many levels to join an exceptional team whose clients include some of the largest landowners along the south coast, with genuine scope to significantly increase earnings for the department and options for more experienced individuals to move into the firms seniority in the longer term. 

This is an established West Sussex firm with good coverage across the region at several sites. They have a reputation for delivering high quality advice and have developed some long term relationships with some very key clients across the Sussex coast. The team are effectively restructuring which will see everyone working closer together across the business  in order to maximise the potential and further grow the commercial reach even further. 

You will form part of a small close-knit team lead by a partner who has been established in the region for close to twenty years. The role will also see you engage with other solicitors across the business as and when required dealing with a broad variety of commercial work. On a day to day basis you will manage an existing caseload of matters including (but not limited to) the sale of businesses and purchases, partnership agreements and shareholder agreements, leases, options agreements, overages, land transfers.

One particular area that may interest more experienced candidates is the potential to significantly increase the earnings of the team (and subsequently improve your own personal standing within the firm). It is felt that with the right individual who has an appetite to engage and develop business that a significant increase in departmental business is there to capitalise upon. Therefore this a very genuine opportunity to raise your own profile, build upon existing work and put yourself in a prime position to be considered for partnership should that be your goal.
 
If you are an individual closer to the 2 years PQE mark the opportunity to work hand in hand with the commercial partner is one that you will probably already know doesn't come onto the market that often. The position therefore represents a great opportunity to develop your expertise under the guidance of a highly regarded solicitor and partner at a firm that take on some of the best work in the region. Your development will also benefit from a great deal of client contact as well as partnering and engaging with other solicitors at the firm who themselves have an excellent track record.
