A new opportunity for a Barrister to join a leading national law firm, with flexible working, their will be a requirement to attend the Birmingham office up to two days per week.

Working within the Professional Discipline department this role focuses upon healthcare alleged misconduct cases requiring presenting cases before panels and regulatory bodies. This will involve advocacy at interim and substantive hearings which are generally contested by counsel. Opportunities to appear at Court and Tribunals on appeals as well as other advocacy opportunities. The role will require overseeing less experienced lawyers.
A qualified Barrister with 2+ years call with previous experience in the field of regulation and professional discipline is strongly preferred, it is not essential. Criminal advocacy will be required if professional discipline experience has not been gained. experience.
