We're working with one of our long-standing clients based in central Manchester that are looking for a Head of Employment.
This is a firm that have experienced a period of organic and strategic growth over the last few years and have taken on some impressive partners to bolster their offering. Employment is a key growth area for them so whilst there is already a team there, this is an opportunity for an experienced Employment solicitor to make a real difference and become a key figure within the firm.
The client base spans North West clients, national clients as well as some international clients so experience advising various size businesses across various sectors will be beneficial. There isn't a particular niche in regard to the work so they're ideally looking for someone experienced in both contentious and non-contentious work.
You will ideally have been within a senior position before however, this doesn't need to have been a Head of position. Someone with experience networking and building strong relationships with clients is important and the ability to mentor more junior members of staff will be beneficial.
This is an excellent and unique opportunity in the legal market to join a firm as a Head of Employment where you can make a genuine difference. It will suit those that want to be able to make decisions as to the development of the Employment offering but also one where you will be a key figure within the wider firm and assist in the continued growth during this exciting time.
Whilst the firm has offices in Manchester, there is a considerable amount of flexibility whether this be agile or home working as this is something they already have in place.
